Can any one recommened a corker to use, i'm no millionaire but i don't want one that is going to fall apart. Also, the corks i have say 'DO NOT SOAK', yet some of the corkers i have looked at say to soak them. Any advice? Will they be ok unsoaked?

  1. ok i dont know if you mean a wine bottle stopper, like a thing u stick in the bottle after you remove the original cork?? or if you mean a corkscrew?

if you mean a corkscrew, your cheap and handy sommelier knife is by far the easiest, cheapest and lightest option.....remove the covering, s***w  th s***w into the cork, and then to pull it off, rest the lever arm onto the head of the bottle n pull.....you can open a bottle in about 30 seconds... and youl get one for a few dollars/ euros/ pounds whatever

  2. Some corks come pre-sulfited and those you wouldn't soak. Other's you'll want to soak in a sulfite solution to sanitize. If your corks say not to soak, I wouldn't. Below is a good table top corker. I use a hand corker but table top or floor corkers require less effort.
