  1. hey I live near Verona city Called TRENTO its really great:)

When you get there go to Levico Terme, its a town 20 ks frm trento!!

    awesome packed frm turist.

  2. Excluding Lake Garda, some good places to visit would be Mantova - very nice old town with a good castle and a summer residence, Palazzo Te, that's worth a visit. There's a good music festival there. ou can get there on the train. Try the local specialities in the restaurants.

Soave - very scenic small castle. Take the bus from Porta Nuova.

Vicenza is larger, but worth a visit. Lots of Palladian architecture and an excellent old theater (Teatro Olimpico).

Ferrara - another good castle and the Duomo is very nice as is Palazzo Diamonte. If you're there next weekend, the Palio is definitely worth seeing. There's a huge costumed procession from the castle to the grounds where the races are held.

Sabionetta - a small walled medieval city built by one of the Gonzagas - fantastic architecture. The first indoor theater in Europe.

Molina - a very small town with an old mill in the mountains just north of Verona. Cherry orchards and a very nice waterfall park in the gorge.
