I'd like to take my overseas relative to a good buffet restaurant. Preferably not too far from City.

  1. The Four Points by Sheraton Darling Harbour has a great seafood buffet, it has rock oysters, balmain bugs, blue swimmer crabs, prawns. it also has eight hot dishes, including rice and soup. There is also a carvery on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. It also offers anti pasto and dessert buffet. It's $70 for dinner, also open at lunches. Its located at 161 Sussex st, behind the aquarium. I know the chefs there and the food is fantastic.

    Hope you enjoy.

  2. Several of the hotels in the CBD have very good buffet restaurants. I have eaten at  the Westin, Sheraton on the Park , The Raddison and The Hilton. All I recommend without hesitation. Sheraton does a great Seafood Buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. Be prepared to pay for the privilege tough!

  3. I like the buffet at Mounties.  Mount Pritchard Community Club. It may be too far for you. To impress the oversea relative try the Rocks area or around Pyrmont, but take your credit cards with you -maybe 2.

    Hope you find something nice.

  4. agree with almarj70, Radisson is brill. but the price is $$$, :) and Star city is rubbish haha
