Can anyone recommend a good credit card?

My wife needs a credit card but only for emergencies so i'm looking for one with maybe a free gift or two, she will only need it when she's away with work and only for emergencies.

Depending on what you prefer, there are many major credit cards out there that not only offer 0% interest promotions but give you credits towards airplane miles and rebates. Any of the major chains, such as MBNA (now owned by Bank of America) would be a good suggestion. As long as you PAY ON TIME - so as not to damage your Credit Score - you can earn perks with the outstanding balance.
