Can anyone recommend a good home study IT website? thanks?

Is this for a child or an adult?  What do you want to learn in IT:  programming? creating websites? database management?  If you could describe what you were looking for, it might help narrow down the options a little.

You might need to nail it down a little more.  I know when I was hiring, good work experience would always win out, but for your first job, I have to say, a good "brick and mortar" college will be looked at more seriously than a virtual one.  That might be right or wrong, but that is the way it was when I was hiring...  I would look at University of Phoenix, for a degree or maybe DeVry for coursework, but you might also want to seriously check out your local community college.
