  3. is harry potter sci-fi?

the twilight saga is really good.

  4. Well if your looking for YOUR age level I suggest maybe All creatures great and small it has like 5 sequals, they are All things bright and Beautiful, all things wise and wonderful, it goes on from there with a lot fo other books about the same person. The author is James Herriot. It's a story about a scottish vetenary surgeon who doesn't know much about animals but picks up along the way and he begins to love his job even if it's hard and stressful at times. Some parts are really funny, some are serious, and some are kid of stretched out if your a person who likes to read about what the world around him is like and past experiences, it's a good book, I don't want to give too much away.

Another series that is non-sci-fi and that has three or more books for someone who is 16 is the series of books called the twilight series. The books are Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. The author is Stephenie Meyer. There are four books so far. They aren't really sci-fi it's edging on sci fi actually now that I think of it. It's more really of just a fiction rather then sci fi. If its not really your thing if it comes off as too much of a sci fi then here's another idea:

I really liked the series by Lemony snicket even though they may be below your age level, there's PLENTY of books at least twelve, I used to like them A LOT. But then again I was kinda young like 10 i think when they came out. It's a suggestion if you're looking for something like that.

I like the nooks A tree Grows In brooklyn by Betty Smith and The Pact by Jodi Picoult, I'm not sure if any have sequals or prequels but I know they're great books and I think A Tree Grows In Brooklyn has become a movie and The Pact was a movie or show or something as well.

I hope I've helped, those are some of my favorite books to read. A lot of my favorites are sci-fi so it was hard to choose ones that weren't sci-fi..... lol

  5. 1 ladies detective agency

    sherlock holmes

    gossip girl

  6. If you haven't read it yet, I recommend John Galsworthy's  "The Forsyte Saga"  consisting of the following books:

    The Man Of Property, 1906

Indian Summer of a Forsyte, 1918

    In Chancery, 1920

    Awakening, 1920

    To Let, 1921

followed by John Galsworthy's  "End of Chapter."

It might seem too thick at the beginning but it is worth every page :)

Or if you like history  there is the French author Maurice Druon's "The Accursed Kings " consisiting of

    I.  The Iron King

    II. The Strangled Queen

    III. The Poisoned Crown

    IV. The Royal Succession

    V. The She-Wolf of France

VI. The Lily and the Lion

very nicely depicted and also easy to read :)

  14. The first thing when you say book series that comes to my mind is the shopoholic series by Sophie Kinsella.

I'm not exactly a huge fan of books with characters like Becky Bloomwood or a huge fan of people in real life like that but Kinsella has really made Becky seem realistic. Sweet, caring but just through shopping :)

And I especially like the break from the norm with letters in it every few chapters. I didn't start with the start I first read Shopoholic and sister, then the wedding (wrong order and they were the last two books at the time) then shopoholic and baby. So I haven't read the first few ones.

  15. I'm sure you have read these, but they are very famous dystopian novels. I don't know what kind of books you want.

    1984

    A Brave New World

  16. i dont know what you like.. but my favorite books are all sarah dessen. BUt my favorite series is pretty little liars

  17. Chronicles of Narnia is great.

  18. I liked Tara K. Harper books.  They're basically fantasy/adventure series.  It is on another world, and there are aliens, but it's far more wilderness adventure / survival than sci-fi.  As in, no blasters, no guns, technology has been lost.  The aliens are more in the background and not exactly how I view aliens (it'd be more like there being elves living in a neighboring city who are so culturally different that everyone avoids them.)  The fantasy part is that there are people who can mind-communicate with wolves, but even that is fairly subdued compared with a lot of books out there.

In any case, I loved them.
