Can anyone recommend a good nursery and infant school?

hi i live in alfreton, derbyshire and i'm trying to find a good school for my two boys i've tried web search but it seems no one wants to rate their schools my older son has just started nursery but we hate that one and are looking for a diffrent one for my other son who should start next september

so i need a good nursery and infant school i'm learning to rive so i don't mind if it's not right next door

  1. You can read all the Ofsted reports online,you need to go to the local authority for the area you are looking for and they should have all the reports there.

Read OFSTED reports they always contain a part about parents and how they view the school, a lot of schools now have a web site you can access, these are good because childrens work is sometimes displayed. Speak to other parents in the area word of mouth is a good measuring post for the schools in the area. Visit all the schools around and ask to be shown around again this gives you an insight--are the children all busy? is the atmoshere calm?. It is a difficult decision so take your time and gather as much info as you can.
