Can anyone recommend a good place to eat on London's Holloway Road?

I wanted to get some food before going to the Holloway Odeon, but I get the feeling it's a bit of a culinary wasteland...

There's a thai place further up towards archway station that's pretty good. Although I'm fucked if I remember the name....

Go to the EMPIRE chinese restaurant across the road from The Odeon. It's fab there. I love their Pork in Satay Sauce... YUM!!!
