Can anyone recommend a good place to go for a holiday in france?

Question

We're looking for somewhere...

- relatively cheap (so not St Tropez or Monaco or something!!!)

- near the beach

- with a good nightlife: bars, clubs etc, but not so formal

- a good youth scene, so loads of people around 17/18 would be ideal

Nantes is a good city ,close of the beach ,lots of things to do (bars ,clubs ,stores ,...) and there are lot of young ppl . I love this city!

Nice is very nice. You can fin affordable hotels. The night life in the summer is great. the beach is not very nice because it is pebbles, but there are beaches on the east side around Villefranche Sur Mer that are nice.

Well Brittany looks relatively cheap near a beach has a  few bars and has a youth club
