Question:

Can anyone recommend a good product to deter cats and dogs from fouling?

I have a problem with them making a mess on my front and side garden, I use pepper dust but its not very good as they keep coming back, also how frequently should I use it? Thanks.

  1. A shotgun for the dogs. you don't have to be so drastic with the cats, there is a plant you can put out that puts them off.


  2. Pepper won't work long term.

    Take some chicken wire/ or other small type wire and bury it just under the soil.  you can cut it around plants etc.

    When the cat digs... their claws snag on the wire and they don't like it.

    As for dogs take 4 LARGE  clear glass water jugs and fill them with water and place  on all 4 courners of the garden/ yard.  (like something apple juice comes in )

    For some reason this scares dogs away...

    Try it it won't hurt.  

  3. invest in a bb gun

  4. get a scarecrow sprinkler motion detector.

  5. Moth balls supposedly work for cats, I've just bought some to try.
