Price range doesn't really matter. We just want some good places to eat while we're there on the weekend.

  1. The Island sailing club in cowes. It doesn't serve the best food on the Island to be honest but the views of the coast are amazing.

Whether you decide to go or not, its probably worth mentioning that each restaurant on the Island is inspected by the department of environmental health and given a mark of 0-5. By law each restaurant has to display the mark given on the entrance. Obviously the higher the mark, the more hygienic the restaurant is. Enjoy your weekend.

  2. TRY :- APPLEY MANOR

  3. The Buddle Inn at St Catherines. (On the coast. Head west from Ventnor and through Niton a bit)

It's an old smuggler's pub and serves great food, well kept ales and has a good atmosphere.

If you're in Ryde I recommend lunch at the Yelfs Hotel. It's not expensive and I've never been disappointed.

  4. the griffon is a nice pub clean and service great hope u have a nice time and enjoy

  5. there is a lovely pub in godshill called the griffin. the food is Delicious.

  6. The Crab & Lobster at Bembridge. The Pointer Inn at Newchurch (excellent!).The Windmill at Bembridge. The Dairyman's Daughter at Arreton. The Chequers at Rookley.

We holiday over the island every year so have found these places along the way!I'm jealous!Have a great meal & a good time!
