Can anyone recommend a good sunday dinner in the Lake District?

Question

Staying in Coniston for a few days this weekend. Were going to the blacksmiths arms in broughton mills on friday night for a meal (really good food!) but want to try somewhere different for a sunday lunch. Preferably somewhere not too far away from coniston say no more than half an hours drive. Thanks!

The Lindale Inn, just off the A590. You turn off at the top of Lindale Hill, which is the brow of the new by-pass section. I haven't been there for a while, but it was always a nice menu, with some Local produce, nicely presented.
