Can anyone recommend a good training guide, website, or DVD for networking?

I'm about to start on the path of getting my MCSE but before I do I want to make sure I a solid understanding of networking basics. I'm looking for a recommendation to an instructional guide, website, or DVD to get me started.

 can't help with MSCE but for MOS/MCAS Maams there are manuals for Ms application training freely available at http://www.mousetraining.co.uk/ms-office-training-manuals.html
