  1. "The George" on Borough High Street - beautiful historical coaching inn,  and where Shakespeares plays were performed in the courtyard. Also in the same general area - "The Anchor Bankside" and "The Thameside Inn "- all old and in lovely riverside locations.

  2. yes, need to go over to wards Moorgate...Loads

  3. there is a really nice bar called vinopollis (i think that is how they spell it)... the have all sorts of beer on tap and really really good cocktails and martinis. it's a reallly trendy place to drink.

  4. THE BRIDGE INN?

  5. The Market Porter next to Borough Market serves a good range of real ales. Good atmosphere too. It can get very busy.

The George is also very good, have spotted celebs there too!

  6. The market porter, or the one on the corner up from there, or the old coaching opposite. Or the very dodgy pool club (expensive and not nice).

  7. The Globe but is very small. All pubs around Borought market are very nice.
