Tavern on The Green in Central Park is the best for Mother's Day Brunch. Just be sure to make a reservation and ask for the Crystal Room. It is very feminine and is just PERFECT for mother's day! Then, take a horse carriage ride around Central Park and the day will be complete!

there's a Holiday Inn in Ronkonkoma on Vet's hiway that puts out a nice buffet

The restaurant at the Garden City Hotel.   Nice place to have Mother's Day brunch.  Make reservations.
