Can anyone recommend a nice/romantic resturant in Plymouth?

My wife could really do with a break from the kids. I want to take her out for a romantic meal and maybe a stoll along the seafront, while the kids are at the inlaws. As I don't know Plymouth very well, what do people recommend?

Thanks for helping

  1. You could try the Kitley House Hotel Restaurant:

    Or the Treasury:

  2. burger king

  3. ...Wetherspoons! Food is not great but it's edible and the drink is cheap!!!

  4. Years ago we went to this Chines restaurant on the Barbican in the House that Jack Built (think it's called the crystal dragon?)

Not only was there fab food but we were given a small room of our onw(think they were very busy) but it's always remained a fond memory. It's also close to the Hoe-great for a romantic stroll.

Personally the best place for romance was the 2 Bridges Inn on Dartmoor (4 posters, jacuzzi) which was really reasonable & lovely!

  5. The most recognised recommended restaurant is Tanners, but be warned it's expensive as it's top range, but then we all have to treat ourselves now and again, right?

    The website is http://www.tannersrestaurant.com/

Hope you have a nice meal!

  6. apple bees is nice or the 99 idk if there in plymouth though cuz im near hampton area

  7. I reccomend the Plymouth House Inn. Here is their website: http://www.plymouthhouseinn.com/planeven...

  8. Have a look on google. You should find a nice romantic place. Good luck.
