  1. the double door its a really cool place and all sorts of bands plays there

  2. theres a really cool place for jazz called close up 2 on clark and from the outside looks can be deceiving but it's a really cool place, more laid back.  Also Moonshine on division and the evil olive on north are pretty cool.  If you've never been to The Metro I would check it out too...

  3. Just take a cab to Clark street--the cabbie will know where to dump you off!  Very fun!

  4. The Green Mill in Uptown for cool Jazz

  5. the "quibbouz" its this hot bar off of 33rd and eastern

  6. The entire city of Chicago is a "Night Spot". As previously mentioned the Green Mill is a nice late night haunt for Jazz. Want to stomp your feet I recommend B.L.U.E.S. at 2519 N. Halstead or Kingston Mines across the street, go see and hear Billy Branch, Magic Slim, John Primer or Carl Weathersby. Want romance check out the Drake hotels Coq d'Or lounge with jazz music, or find romance at the Lodge on Division street. If you cannot find it on Division Street your DEAD! Depending on the time of year a sailboat sunset cruise out of Belmont harbor or the harbor near Oak Street Beach, then you can work your way inland for food and drink.
