Can anyone recommend a place in the USA that has cheap rent, good schools and is safe?

Hello there,

First of all,  Houston is not safe and Austin is not cheap.

We do live in a community away from the Houston area that has a very good reputation for a fine education program and the rent is more affordable than most places.  This is Deer Park,  Texas - closer to Nasa - Johnson Space Center than to the Houston area.

lee county or leesburg georgia

it's a small town that is growing fast but a great school system

1 pre-k school

2 primary schools kindergarten-2nd grade

2 elementary schools 3rd-5th

1 middle school 6th-8th

1 9th grade academy

1 high school 10th-12th

You may want to look towards the mid-west and in particular Sioux Falls, South Dakota. However the state including Sioux Falls is quite 'backwards', there is no culture, nor any entertainment which may get to you. If you are looking for something that has something to do in your free-time then Minneapolis or Omaha might be worth considering.
