  1. You will have to subscribe to a service because of the ever changing markets and the size of the data base required to capture all the securities.

You should look into the various screening that is available by many of the sites and the best part, they're free

    Try MSN Money http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp

    Yahoo Finance http://finance.yahoo.com/

    Zacks Research http://www.zacks.com/

    Graham Investing http://www.grahaminvestor.com/

  2. There are quite a few so-called stock picking software programs on the market and most simply are not worth the money.

MarketClub is supposedly one that a lot of people do like, but I have never used it personally.  The resource below is a review of MarketClub that includes videos of how there software works.

  3. Many brokers and news web sites, including Yahoo Finance, have stock screeners which allow you to create a list of stocks based on criteria that you feel are important.

If you mean a program that will tell you how to trade, and actually works, it would be worth millions to a big hedge fund, so the developer wouldn't be offerring it for a few bucks to individuals.

  4. Such a thing would be proprietary software used by investment banks and trading firms.
