No reliable dog breeder would breed a Maltalier, cavamalt, or cav-a-malt.

You might easily find one of these mixed breed dogs on Petfinder.com.

The term "reliable dog breeder" used in the same breath as Maltalier is an oxymoron. No reliable breeder, worth his salt, would participate in this faddish designer dog combinations.

I do not appreciate being called an idiot by somebody who clearly has no idea what they're talking about.

It's just breeding, is it? Did you never stop to wonder why so many animals end up in shelters and rescues? Because people bred them. Whether for money or through ignorance, they bred these animals, who grew up and became unwanted.

I am all for rescuing dogs. I am totally against designer dogs being bred. I have nothing wrong with any dog, purebred or mutt, or in between. Just today I spent some time with an absolutely adorable Jack Russell x Kelpie, who I think is every bit as good a pet as my friend's purebred Dachshunds.

I just think that breeding cross bred dogs is irresponsible. What is their purpose? Nothing. They make great pets, but there are so many other dogs who make great pets too. Why breed more when you can adopt? Cross bred dogs have no predictable temperament or appearance, so you never know what you are going to get - which is all part of a shelter dog's charm, but why spend hundreds of dollars on a dog when you have no idea it will turn out like? It's just stupid.

Nope because no reliable or reputable breeder breeds mutts and that is what you are looking for. Go look on petfinder for your mutt or check yur local shelter.

Only irresponsible greeders breed mutts.

oh you mean a mutt. there are many in shelters across this country.

what you will NOT find is a "reliable" and more importantly a reputable breeder. why? because no responsible reliable breeder would EVERY breed mutts.

go check out your local SPCA and save a life.

oh, a mixed breed. As that is not a nationally recognized breed I don't know that you will find a "breeder" except on the bulletin board at the Wal*Mart.

Don't go to a breeder! There are tons of cute loveable dogs that are homeless. By you going to a breeder you are killing one of them! =(
