I have to organise a dinner for ten to fifteen colleagues. Can anyone recommend a venue in Maidenhead? I need it to be as central as possible as we don't have cars (we're all from London and just take the train out there).

It needs to be decent - i.e. not Burger King thanks! - but doesn't need to be exceptionally posh; we're not trying to impress anyone!

We also want to go out for drinks afterwards so it would be great if you can recommend two different venues which are close together, or one venue which has a separate bar.

  1. Jonathan's restaurant is right at the end of the high street.  Its not too expensive does pasta salad pizza's etc 01628 780227

Around town is great, they have a Thai on ground floor and a Indian in the basement floor (the Indian is the better choice)

    its also a bar 01628 639767

Forono Italian is just the best but quite pricey 01628 670051

The bars in maidenhead are not too great, there is a bar near the river called Blue River Cafe 01628 674057 its a restaurant and bar and you can sit out by the river if the weather is nice, defiantly a bar for the 30 + people really nice.

I would recommend Around town or Jonathan's for a central location.

    Bars..... try Que Pasa....Bar 38.....

    have a good night xxxxx

  3. I can recommend the Cod Almighty fish and chip shop in the High Street. Say I sent you and you'll get a complementary 2 litre bottle of Irn Bru
