  1. Any of the restaurants in Charlotte Street. Pied a Terre is the very best (2 michelin stars), but take a loaded credit card. Passione is good too.

  2. Cagney's first went there over 20 years ago. Love it , still go now, unusual to find a place to last that long in London.

  3. Imli----it is a contemporary indian tapas menu ....a must to taste

  4. The French House.

  5. Malabar Junction in Great Russell Street is a superb southern Indian restaurant. I don't often eat out in the west end but it's usually here when I do.

The Pizza Express in Coptic Street by British Museum is very good too.

  6. i duno wher jamie olivers restuarant is but its called Fifteen

  7. There is a Burger King at the corner near Oxford Street - near the theatre. Seriously though there are some good Steak restaurants in and around nearby Leicester Square.

  8. the aberdeen angus ones are good

  9. Can I suggest Spiga. It is an Italian and the address is 84-86 Wardour Street, Soho, W1F 3LF.

It is in the heart of Soho, the food is good and it is pretty stylish too

  10. Trattoria Verdi

    110 Southampton Row, Bloomsbury, WC1

    (020) 7405 8001

It's about 3 minutes walk from the British Museum.

The best Italian in town (and I AM Italian!)

P.S. Fifteen is in East London

  11. You can get every type of meal you could dream off in Charlotte Street which is just behind Tottenham Court Road going toward Goodge Street.  The whole street is near enough restaurants!

    Soho Restaurants

Zilli Fish, Brewer Street - as the title gives away its Fish

Soho Spice, Wardour Street - Indian cuisine

Ping Pong, Great Marlborough Street - Dim Sum

g*y Hassar, Greek Street - Hungarian

  12. The Boardwalk

    18 Greek Street, Soho, London.

This should hit the spot! Fantastic food at a reasonable price!

The person to ask for is Yusef as he really looked after us!

  13. Chez Gerard on Dean Street in Soho is fantastic. It's a small little cozy restaurant that does modern English/Italian food. They have a very good value pre-theatre menu. I think two courses for £7.99.
