  1. A bottle trap (if your fish are small enough).  Take a plastic soda bottle and cut the top off so that you have two pieces: a funnel looking piece and a cylindrical piece.  Turn the funnel piece around and stick it inside of the cylindrical piece.  The end product will look like a soda bottle with the neck pushed in.  Put the trap in your tank and allow it to fill with water.  You might have to add a rock or something to the inside to keep it from floating/drifting.  Put some bait in the trap.  I'd suggest adding something irresistible to whatever species you are try to catch.  The fish will swim in through the neck to get the food, but will find it extremely difficult to get out.

Keep an eye on your trap.  If too many fish enter it, they may deplete the oxygen in the small place quickly.  You could try poking small holes in the sides of the trap to avoid this.

It may take a couple tries to catch the fish you are going for, but I bet you'll finally succeed.  Good luck!

  2. I feel for you I know of know other way than a net if you have problems with the fish I would look into the cause of the problem which normaly falls under water conditions at the same time you can't treat them in your reef system without harming the reef you should invest in a uv sterilizer if you haven't allready

  3. a fishing pole... just kidding...

maybe use some bait and a net.

you might want to explain what type of fish you are trying to catch...
