Can anyone recommend a town to visit in Germany.

Question

Travelling down from Esbjerg in Denmark. I want to travell down the 11 to the border and visit the best nearest town over the border. Thanks in advance.

I was in Hamburg and enjoyed myself there, lots of history and a great place to party as well.

Go to Hamburg and Munich. Both are really beautiful places.

Go to Berlin too.

I went to Munich (München) once.  It was very pretty, but I think I would have enjoyed the countryside and small villages AROUND that area more...like Füssen, the castle!  I never had time to get to Neuschwanstein, so, since it's one of my dreams, I always recommend it...there is a whole road, there, with a lot of lovely castles.  You could do that.

(no personal experience with Hamburg, sorry...it's probably lovely, too).
