  3. I dont think there is one that is distance prefferable sorry.

  5. Try asking Wishcraft to book something for you - they are a concierge service and are based near Edinburgh I think.  We use them a lot and have always been happy.

  7. Hi Aileen, try this chain of hotel, quite cheap, a cont. breakfast thrown in, and most of all very very comfortable, with sky in your room. I use these all the time whist travelling the country, there the best ive found so far...Good luck...

  8. The Osbourne Hotel is a 2 minute walk, in fact from the front door you can see the playhouse theatre!  It's on York Place and it's also about a 5 minute walk to Princes Street.  I booked this through Active Hotels on Multimap.com.  It's a bit old fashioned but cheap and cheerful!

  9. top notch hotel next door, the glasshouse, across the road is the holiday inn express ,3-4 minutes walk, the thistle hotel, which is in between the playhouse and princess street,or 3-4 minutes walk down to windsor street, the cairn hotel.the playhouse theatre is on greenside place

  10. there is a premiere holiday inn directly over from the playhouse costs around £60-85 per night. Has a bar breakfast etc.

there are many in town along that area but this is by far the closest and cheapest
