Can anyone recommend an excellent torch?

I'm looking for a torch or flash light in Australia, which is fairly light, durable, extremely powerful and I can rely on.

The majority of torches I have bought are pretty c**p so come up with some good ones! :D

in America it would be a Mag-Lite

if Pelican lights are available there then they are A#1

buy a flashlight with LED's instead of a bulb. No bulb to burn out and about 1/10th the power draw......
