  1. take a ferry to dublin

lille is very nice and accessible by eurostar once there you can also go to brugges

  2. depends who's going ( any kids?) and if u drive.  i live just outside edinburgh so i recommend there.  lots of touristy things to do and see and the nightlife is good.  Inverness and surrounding area is beautiful too if u like sightseeing.  You can also take a dolphin watching boatride on the moray firth which is lovely.  If you get the weather, the western isles are absolutely gorgeous and if its hot then the beaches are just as good as being abroad.  have a look at www.visitscotland.com.  We're going to fuerteventura but we went to inverness in november.

  3. I cant tell you where I am going,

But for your trip good places are... Wolverhampton - (with Novetal Hotel)

    or Birmingham (Soho Rd)

There are places near UK like Dublin, Edinburgh

  4. If you drive you can get the ferry or go through the euro tunnel to France and drive to the south of France or even Spain.

I am not afraid of flying so I am off to Turkey in May and Mexico in August, but I am sure wherever you end up going you will enjoy it just as much as I will. Happy hols

  5. Paris is fantastic... And the accomodation is pretty old but nice... the smaller hotels arent that expensive..Also there is loads to do there..

I'm going to Egypt for 2 weeks this year.. sharm El Shiekh. I can't wait..

  6. Scotland,

    Search Drumnadrochit Logdes,

Tell them Emily And Matthew Sent You,

They are very lovely lodges in the hill, with a spectacular view of loch ness and not pricey at all, although we did go in december it was £260 but we spent about £50 on the electric because we had to have the electric heaters on flat out lol!

  7. either wales or cornwall

  8. Blackpool. I went afew years ago with the family & the kids all loved it. My 9 year old niece wants to move there she loved it so much!

Or you could come over here to sunny N. Ireland! It really is beautiful over here. You could stay in Co. Down along Strangfrod Lough and if you get the ferry over to Belfast it's only less than an hours drive to some really beautiful countryside (where i live!)

    Try looking up

    www.discovernorthernireland.com

    Hope this helps

  9. Devon is gorgeus, and of course if you take the car you can go to cornwall which i'd love to see or visit both it'll prob be Scotland for me this yr.

  10. We went to the Norfolk Broads last year and it was great.  We hired a boat which slept 6 people and spent our holiday sailing up and down the waterways, stopping off at different places each time for lunch, dinner, etc or just for a drink in the evening.  We were lucky with the weather too and the boat's roof pulled right back to let the sunshine in.

The boats have kitchen and toilet/shower facilities and a TV.  Some have games machines.  Its great for any age and its really what you make it, I guess.
