hmmm... you could try Linkin Park "Shadow of the Day" etc. New album out, you might like yellowcard, try John Mayer "When The Lights Go Out" it's a new LIVE album, each song amazingly written and some great guitar solos, etc. BoysLikeGirls is a younger band, but it has an alternative style mixed with rock, you could look up some of there songs, you could also try Maroon5 they have a similar vibe to The Fray, umm...Paolo Nutini, Jason Mraz : he has some new songs out : AllTimeLow, CuteIsWhatWeAimFor, also Rooney, they are more alternative as well. I hope this helps, and gives you some ideas.
