Can anyone recommend cheap accommodation in meribel, france?

Try a B & B (chambres d'hotes) which are of a much higher standard than n UK. There is one in Meribel owned, to the best of my knowledge,  by an Irish lady named Bridget Daley. They have six rooms, two doubles, three twins and a family room. Do you need 1 room for all 4 people, or 2 rooms?

The cheapest room for 4 people that I found is at the Residence Maeva Les Pistes.  it's 17 miles from the city center, but it's only 72.65USD per night.  It's a 1 bedroom apartment for 4...

For a 2-person room in a place a bit closer (7 miles), there's the Residence Maeva Planchamp Et Mottett.  They've got a room for 78.58USD per night.

I stayed at Brides les Baines,a small village a mile away from Meribel,free cable car access,I noticed Résidence Cybèle in meribel from £199-,available now,heres the link,good luck
