  1. it does if they dont put u to sleep

but i heard its great and it works pretty well

  2. it is rubbish

  3. My mum had it done and it's the best thing that ever happened to her! I don't think the actual lasering part hurts, but they are sore and bloody for a few days afterwards, but definitely worth it in the end!

  4. I've had the surgery and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I had LASEK treatment which is more invasive and the only discomfort I found was wearing the contact lens 'bandage' for 4 days. With LASIK you don't wear the lenses and as I understand it you're usually back to your normal routine the next day.

There was no blood. I certainly wasn't knocked out - they give you drops to anaesthatise your eyes. It takes about 10 seconds an eye for the actual laser to do it's work. The results are instantaneous and above all amazing.

    Go for it!

  5. my brother had it done a few years ago. They did not knock him out, but gave him valium to relax him. He didn't feel pain, but discomfort because he had a reaction to the drops. He now has excellent vision, and does recommend it to people
