Question:

Can anyone recommend good 7.1 surround sound speakers?

I am looking for a surround sound speaker system that can have multiple inputs (stereo and 7.1) and a good set of speekers with subwoofer it must be able to fill all speakers using just a stereo input.

  1. Creative, Logitech, LandSound etc to name just a few, all at reasonable price, on the net


  2. Speakers are like food. One person may hate broccoli while the other loves it. You have to go to a good A/V store and listen for yourself. I would suggest Klipsch, Polk, Boston Acoustics, and Cambridge Soundworks as a start. Also Definitive Technology has some great speakers but you have to buy them then return them if you don't like 'em (they don't sell through brick & mortar stores, that I know of).

    For receivers, test out Denon, Yamaha, and Onkyo.

  3. Yeah dude go shop around. But buy a full surround sound system for your computer and tv its awesome and makes life so easy :D. Good luck and have fun

  4. Here is my recommendation.  This is a nice setup.  But honestly go out and listen to speakers with your own media.  And spend your money wisely, don't buy Bose.
