  1. Put in bounce dryer sheets in each one when you are not wearing them.  It really works to remove odours.  I saw it done on a commercial and tried it and amazingly it works.

  2. Also, after washing them with baking soda, bring it out into the sun to dry instead of chucking it in the dryer.

  3. Just sprinkle some baking soda in there...and make sure you let them air out really well in between uses.

  4. dont wash them, they'll lose their structure.

I agree with other poster. Powder, I used talcum powder myself. they smell when they get wet. When you come in with wet shoes, fill them with newspaper until the next run. the paper will absorb the wetness and some odor

  5. i chuck mine in da washing machine and den leave to dry out for a day or so. i also use baking soda now and den. 1 tsp per shoe does da trick!

RE: Washing Machine! 4got 2 say place a rolled up cloth/ sock etc in each shoe to keep its shape - stuff dem right up ddeep inside the shoe - it works!

  6. You are of course going to need to wash your running shoes to keep them clean and smelling good.

First, remove the innersole. Rinse it out. Dry it with a clean dry towel. Remove the laces and wash them as you would your socks.

Take a brush and vigorously wash your shoes under hot running water and soap in your sink. Rinse well but do not soak them. They should be dried in a well ventilated area not in direct sun and certainly not in a dryer (this will cook them).

Please use some baking soda between washes if your nose (or those of others) senses the need.

Please also note that running shoes should be replaced twice a year.
