Ok, so Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love Halloween and love everything about it.

I'm looking for some books, stories, manga, etc... about Halloween.

Anything really, I just want to read or see pictures. Nothing for like children, I like stuff more for all ages. I don't want anything that's horror.

I love stuff like the Nightmare Before Christmas. I've seen all of Tim Burton's works, so recommend something else :O

  1. Anything? Because I could give you quite a long list. Are you looking for Halloween history, pure entertainment, music, crafts, fictional stories, novels, websites, poetry, collectibles, places to visit? I will give you some, then if you edit your question to let me know more specifically what you are looking for I will try to help the best I can.

Novels (these are horror, but directly related to Halloween):

    Ghost Walk by Brian Keene

Crooked Tree by Robert C. Wilson (I would recommend this one)

    Halloween Books:

The Halloween Encyclopedia by Lisa Morton (you can use this book to help you find a lot of other Halloween related things)

Stations of the Sun by Ronald Hutton

    Stories:

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (my favorite)

    The Balled of Tam Lin

    Movies:

    Arsenic and Old Lace

    Donnie Darko

    Hocus Pocus

    Magazines:

Martha Stewart's Halloween issue is really good

EDIT: I just noticed that Lisa Morton has a new book called 'A Halloween Anthology'. I haven't read it, but its table of contents is very impressive! I have read several of these:
