Apart from Enjo. I mean things that you could use to clean out a dirty old fridge or mop the floor or get rid of bathroom stains...

  1. Yes

  2. There's a great website devoted to green products called Huddler green home.  It has product reviews, a discussion board, and wiki articles.  Here is the section on green cleaning products:

    http://greenhome.huddler.com/products/ca...

  3. I've seen TV programmes where they use solutions made up of 1 part white wine vinegar to 9 parts water to clean with, also lemon juice and steam cleaning seem to feature highly in these types of shows.

  4. i use bicarbinate of soda for my fridge, good old vim for my bathroom and other bits and for the floor flash.

  5. vinager and salt, make a good clean surface and the salt will help scrub the surface.  lemons are great for polishing enamel or tile surfaces and leave a great scent, baking soda...  the list goes on and on.

i use bleach water alot (not sure if that is "green" but works great) on my floors and counter tops (a mild bleach solution)

  6. I use Simple Green

    www.consumerreports.org

they have a green site (go to the bottom)

  7. You can do a lot with vinegar, ammonia and baking soda.

Seventh Generation makes many good products.

    Orange Sol and Simple Green.

  8. I've been learning some fantastic uses for good ole hydrogen peroxide...you can cleanse your body internally with it so why not use it liberally in simple mixture of distilled water and some lemon juice: spray away!!!  It's so cheap too!
