I'd like to purchase some books about pregnancy later and was wondering what some of your favorites are. I'd prefer some that were fairly positive as I'm feeling like c**p in in a negative state of mind at the moment...lol :) Thanks in advance!

  1. Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy. It's a great book!!

  2. i did not love "what to expect" it seemed very generic at best.

my favorite was probably "ina may's guide to childbirth" which has birth stories in the first half and then a lot of informative medical information that most books don't have.

the pregnancy bible is like what to expect but i thought much more thorough and just better all around.

  3. what to expect when expecting is the one that worked for me (i know it's a little nerdy but i got it)

  4. girlfriends guide to pregnancy by Lovine

  5. What to expect when you are expecting... I Love it!!!

  6. "what to expect when expecting"

    &

"the mother of all pregnancy books"<---loved it

  7. Jenny McCarthy- Belly Laughs it is really good. She keeps everything funny and upbeat. Plus it is more on experience then medical advice like what to expect.

Try checking target for it I saw it for like 14.99

  8. If you want to laugh your butt off get Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy. She's honest and blunt about pregnancy but I liked that.

ETA: I found What to Expect While You're Expecting to be a little boring, myself. Oh, and so was Your Pregnancy Week by Week.

  9. ok the best book that i like is what to expect when you are expecting. good investment. hope that helps and good luck

  10. Go for either the Girlfriends Guide or the Week By Week. We found "What to expect when you are expecting" to be depressing, and I swear I thought I had every symptom in that book!
