Can anyone recommend somewhere good to do a PPL around London?

Private Pilot's Licence.

Currently doing my PPL in Florida, but want to come back and complete it in the UK. Not too taken with the intensive way of doing things out here and would rather space my training out and iron out the wrinkles properly.

Biggin Hill aerodrome or Headcorn in Kent.  Headcorn is a way out of London but its on the main train line.
