  1. There are many nice places worth visiting here in France. It all depends on what you want and what you are interest at. For example, if you want to do like all tourists , just go to some monuments like Tour Effiel, Arc de Tromphe to take some pictures, go to some designer shops like Louis Vuittion, Gucci etc to do some crazy shopping, Paris is your cup of tea. If you like to acquire the knowledge of wine and taste them, then go to Bordeaux area, there are thousand of Chateaux there for you to visit. If you hate cities and prefer the nature, you can visit Les Alpes area, it's got picturesque scenery, so beautiful and peaceful there, in winter it's also a good venue for skiing. If you like to see a world of famous people , luxury life and posh hotels, you can't miss the South of France, this is what we call Cote d'Azur, the English call it the French Riveria. It spreads from Cannes, St. Tropez, Nice to Monte Carlo. If you like Champagne, hand knit goods, go the Champagne region which includes the city of Reims, Troyes, Chalon sur Marne etc. If you like to know about the history of the world war and also if you like cheese , the north like Dunkrique, Normandie and Brittany will suit you.

In France, every city or region have their own specialities, e.g,  mustard is a local and famous product in Dijon,  the seafood soup Bouillabaisse is a famous soup in Marseille, as for wine and cognac, there are many regions such as Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone, Bourgogne which produce wine with different types of grapes.

So now, you can make your choice.

  2. i think paris is the first place to visit

after if you want go to the south Cannes Nice St tropez

"la cote d azur" is beautifull

don t go to the cap d agde it s horrible like a ski station along the sea no charmes just popular tourist

  3. It depends what type of holiday you  want city, sea, culture, relaxation etc - the Languedoc region has great cities like Carcassonne to visit but is also near great beaches. The best week I ever had was in Villefranche on the Cote d'azur, charming small village by the sea with a wee beach, plenty places to eat and right on the train line to easily visit Nice, Cannes etc. But Paris is a fabulous city with loads to do too.

  4. Cap D'agde is a fantastic place to go in the summer months. It is a naturism village (the worlds biggest) and families, couples etc all go there. The beach is fantastic, the camping area is great, shops and restaurants all there in the enclosed resort. You can see more on http://www.capdagdefrance.co.uk
