  1. Yes I can relate and you're not the only one in your situation. We all have unexpected things that pop up. My wife was fired from her company because she's disabled and lost her health insurance because of it. That's a $30K drop in pay and even though on my insurance, can you say "pre existing condition?" ... In diagnosing the disease she has, they found a brain anneurysm. She can't work... EVER. I now have two jobs and take care of the household for us so YES I can relate to you. Unexpected things come up in our lives also. My motto is life is if you can't have the best of everything, make the best of everything that you have. Money, you will find, is not nearly as important as love of self and others and/or your health. If you'd like to chat by all means, email me. I will give you all of the support that I can. Don't give up on your dreams but make sure whatever goals you set are realistic, written down and measurable. Maybe a few tweaks to your plan might just be all you need to accomplish your objectives??? Be true to yourself!!! I'm here to listen if you'd like.

  2. I can relate to never seeming to be able to get ahead, or have things work out the way I need them to.I can relate to having things I want to do but cant.

The truth is we are all responsible for our state of being. We dont prioritize in a way that is productive. If things keep coming up, things that are going to hold you back from doing what you want to do- you need to prepare for these.Put funds, time etc aside to take care of these when they come up.Othrwise you are just chasing your tail.If you have a S****y job, get another one.Staying there is just silly. If you want a better job, put the effort into getting one.Not to mention a cop doesnt just give you a ticket...why be reckless if you dont have the resources to take care of this?

  4. If you want to follow your dreams, you need to have a plan.  Having a lousy job right now might be part of that plan.  I suggest you keep at your lousy job, and maybe take another casual one.  Save what you can and invest it.  That way, when times get tough, as they usually do when you're trying to get your life together, you've got something to live on.

It's all right to have dreams, as long as you have a plan to back them up.  I'd go to a financial planner and have a chat to them about getting your finances in order.  Then, you can start to set goals.  Goals are really important.  Remember, you can't do everything at once.  That's why you have a plan.

And in future, avoid traffic tickets like the plague.  I've never had one because I always park in 'free parking' areas, even if I have to walk five minutes to my destination.  I can't justify spending money on stuff like that.

I suppose I can kind of relate to you.  It gets frustrating when you want to achieve your goals but feel like you're making no progress.  That's why a plan is important.  You can sit down and see what progress you've made, and that's really motivating.

    Best wishes
