Can anyone send in material to record producers, like Hollywood Records and how?

Technically, you can.  Will it be seen?  Nope!  The chances of a bigtime exec looking over your record are slim to none.  I had a band a couple of years ago and handed my actual demo into the hands of a big time record producer, and as soon as I turned around I saw the thing on the ground.  Your best bet is to make that demo, promote the h**l out of it, get it some airplay, that way you can have something to back up that your band is worth hearing, then when you send it anywhere it won't be just some stuff some band recorded in their garage.  You might want to sign with an indie label, if you haven't already, and get more than one copy of the CD made.
