Can anyone share names/websites of home phone companies which are affordable & don't require internet svcs?

Question

I'm switching from Optimum because I refuse to pay 45 bucks for regular services for a house phone.

Nothing fancy, just need it to recieve calls and make em occasionally.

However, when I search, I'm getting stuff like vonage and joi as well as other companies that require broadband yet, I'm trying to turn that off too.

I just want a regular phone. No bundles and no net.

Any suggestions are appreciated=)

you can call any where USA landlines phone or a cellphone for free until April 1, 2008.

you can even dial your own home phone using your computer

depends on where you are which would depend on the RBOC (Verizon, or Qwest etc) or CLECs servicing your area...
