Can anyone simplify evolution to me?

k. so I don't know about it much and I heard my new science teacher believes in it so I don't want to cross the line by accident if I say something. I looked it up on wikipedia and it confused me a whole lot!! simple and correct is sooo appreciated.

You are an evolution of the combination of sperm and ovulos.  Then you evolve into a product known as a newborn baby.  Then you evolve into a young child, then adolescent, teen, young adult, and eventually you evolve into an old person and then you evolve into whatever or wherever your old body gets put and eventually if you pray hard enough you might get to be someones gas or even better, rocket fuel that helps other humans evolve into outer space and on and on and on.

the exact definition of evolution is:

the changing of a population over time

nothing more nothing less. evolution by itself does not contradict the the existence of a god or the bible (or any other holy book) necessarily.

all it means is that populations change for example

the number of humans that infest this planet has greater increased in the past hundred thousands of years

or for example pugs and poodles have now been interbred to cause a terrible ugly creature known as a puggle. Dogs now have a new little stem within their species as a whole.
