  1. Something that won't get them all messy and make mom have to work to wash their clothes.

    Try making beaded jewelry.

  2. try letting them draw a picture of their mom with crayons and take a couple of flowers and let them give one to their moms. or let them make a little card for their mom's

  3. Go to atozteacherstuff.com then to store, then 'themes', then 'mothers day' & for about $3 US you can buy a great cut and paste pdf.

  4. have them make a card for them -or draw a picture of their mom and then ask them what mom does for them and write that on there.

  5. Yes may be a hand made card with the front cover mother's picture inside a heart and a small poem inside.

  6. make a bracelet out of pipe cleaners or something

  7. bookmark for the bible -

    pre-cut the bookmark -

    let them color the bookmark-

photo of them on the bookmark

clear contact paper it  and include in the mothers day card

  8. Picture frames or print out a mother's day poem and have them glue on beads sequins, and put hand print on the bootm.

  9. Have a pre made card and have many cool decorations the kids can design and they will make a cool mothers day card ! or just google mothers day crafts ! :-)

  10. Mothers day cards...

I got a card from my 4-year-old son and I cried.  Make the card from a few pieces of papers glued together.  Write a  question on each page.  Ask the child each question then write their response underneath.

You can ask questions like "Why is your Mother beautiful?" and "What do you like to do with your Mom?" and all sorts of other questions.

Then on the last page have the child draw a picture of them with their Mom.

Trust me it will be adorable!!!

  11. My daughter's preschool had the kids decorate a small flower pot with little jewels and markers and really anything else they could think of and the teachers put seeds and soil into the pots.  They also put a little card on a stick into the soil that had a little poem on it that said:

"This isn't just an empty pot.

    There's something you should know.

Inside the pot there is a seed

That just like me, will grow.

The plant that grows will someday bloom

And remind you of the seed so small

But without your love and tender care,

The seed wouldn't grow at all

    THANKS FOR HELPING ME GROW!"

On the other side they asked the kids why their mommy was special and then they put down what the kids said.  It was the first mothers day that my daughter has ever given me anything (she is 3) and it made me cry.
