Can anyone suggest a good auckland restaurant to take overseas visitors to?? not too expensive.?

I went to a great tapas restaurant in Auckland city.  I got the recommendation from the Lonely Planet's Guide to New Zealand.

For overseas visitors you might like to take them somewhere down near the marina for a view of the water & yachts.

Jervois Steak House on Jervois Road in Herne Bay is awesome. You don't have to be a red meat eater either, they have plenty of fish and white meat options and a great wine list. Well worth it.
