  1. Angelo's of Mulberry St, NYC in Little Italy  www.angelosofmulberryst.com

  2. Angelo's

  3. McDonalds, they're everywhere!

  4. What kind of lunch are you looking for?

Casual sandwiches - try Cosi - soo yummy!

For a nice sit down moderate priced lunch try

Pop Burger - 14 E. 58th St. (there is also on in the Meat Packing District)

    Norma's - 118 W. 57th St.

    John's Pizzeria - 260 W. 44th St.

Not your typical Pizza place. It is more like an Italian Restaurant with good Coal Oven Pizza

    For  nicer/ pricer lunch:

    Pylos 128 E. Seventh St.(bet. Ave. A & 1st Ave)

    Excellent Greek

    Tía Pol - 205 10th Ave. (Tapas)

Dos Caminos - 3 Locations (Mexican)

  5. I wish you had more details such as location and price range, but here are some places I like for lunch.

In the Garment District - Carbone on 38th between Eighth and Ninth - go in good weather because there's more seating in the garden than there is indoors.  They have a coal fired pizza oven (only a few of them left and there are no more permits for them - the old ones can still be used) - the individual pizzas are very good.  I love their fried calamari, the pastas are always good, especially the baked Sicilian pasta.  Service can be slow.

In h**l's Kitchen, on Tenth and 47th, is a wonderful Mexican restaurant  - Tulcingo Del Valle - very plain, very clean, very inexpensive, portions are huge and the food's terrific.  They serve a great seafood soup, moles and pepian.  The chef/owners are from Puebla so they serve some things you don't find in most of New York's Mexican restaurants.  They have a huge menu with so many choices and the daily specials are always good.

Heartland Brewery has restaurants in several locations - they make good burgers here

Chinatown is a great place for a good inexpensive lunch.  I love Fuleen Seafood at 11 Division Street.  They can be vey pricey at dinner, but lunch is a bargain - a plate of shrimp is about $6.  And here is the best recommendation I can give you - a few years ago, I was having a late lunch - there were very people left eating lunch;  it was raining very hard.  A man came in with bags of vegetables, he and his packages were soaking wet.  The chef came out of the kitchen and a man in a suit (owner or manager?) ran over to this man, hugged him and made a big fuss.  The man looked familiar, but I didn't recognize this charming man until I heard that lovely French accent - it was Daniel Boulud!

Another great restaurant is a few doors away - Sunrise at 27 Division Street - they also serve an inexpensive lunch.

Les Halles serves a nice lunch - two locations, one in the Financial District and one in the East 20's.

La Bonne Soup on West 55th off Fifth serves a nice reasonably priced lunch, and, if your lucky enough to get one of the outdoor tables on the balcony, you have the best people watching with your meal

If you're looking for a great burger, try The Corner Bistro on Jane and Eighth in the West Village - there's not much else on the menu, but the burgers are inexpensive and outstanding.

    Bon appetite!
