Can anyone suggest a good place to have a rehearsal dinner in the Temecula/ Murrieta area?

I am looking for somewhere to have a rehearsal dinner. I already know the wineries are a good place but I am looking for other ideas. It will need to be a larger restaurant or banquet room, we will probably have at least 50 guests. We have large wedding party and each person is bring a guest so that alone is nearly 30 of the guests. My fiance likes the idea of a backyard BBQ at his parents which is an ok idea. But there is a set up, clean up and cooking. Who is going to have time for this? I know his family who will not be at the rehearsal would help. Do you think a backyard BBQ will lower the standards of what guests will expect for the wedding, considering our wedding is semi-formal? I am a little uneasy about the idea of a backyard BBQ. Any ideas would be great!

I don't think you should be worried about appearance because you are getting married! This should be the happiest thing of your life! Maybe you can higher someone to take care of everything for you and somehow make it formal. If you hold it in the evening you can have candles or tiki torches dimly lit which would make the mood more formal. I do not think many of the new nicer restaurants have banquet rooms.

Remember that you should always make fair compromises with your fiance.
