Contact you local child care information agency.  If you don't know where to find it, call the welfare office.  They should be able to direct you.  Also try calling local churches, and check with other mothers of very young children to see who they are using.  Look into as many possibilities as you can find.  High quality infant care as critical, since a great deal of child development takes place during those early years.  You need to find someone who will really talk to and interact with your baby as much as possible.  Visit with potential providers and watch for these things during business hours.  Watch to see if there is an adequate number of adults to care for the infants enrolled.  Use common sense to guide you.  Could you yourself adequately care for the number of infants that one adult is expected to care for in that situation?  If not, they probably can't either!  Observe for cleanliness, and watch to see if the adults and children appear to be happy and actively egaged with each other.  Good luck in your search!
