Can anyone suggest a lively hotel in Cancun,Mexico for Christmas?

We are a large group of family / friends of about 15people, and we would like to go away for about 10days over the christmas period. We are looking for a 4-5* for a reasonable price. But we would like to stay in a fun hotel and be near the nightlife.. Can anyone recommend anywhere? And any other suggestions are very welcome. Thanks very much

I recommend you Hyatt Regency Cancun in Punta Cancun.

Very nice hotel very close to night life... I stayed there twice..

Riu Cancun or Riu Palace Las Americas.  Both are w/in walking distance to the main clubs and shopping.
