  1. I tried the curry with some fruits in it.  It was very mild.

But you say you are on a diet, so eat HOT curry even you don't like it. you will sweat and It will burn your fat.

  2. Order any curry you want, just ask for it mild.  Most restaurant curries are made with butter & cream, so as far as your diet goes ---- just enjoy your daughter's bday!

Otherwise order the tandoori, tikka or kebabs --- they are all grilled and not too spicy.  Satisfies everybody this way!

  3. Chicken Tikka masala mmmmmmmmm

  4. Chicken Shashlik - Like tikka and served on a sizzler, but also has onions & peppers. Very tasty & very mild - but not saucy, but as others have said - you cant get a low cal saucy curry - not even a tomato based one.

  5. Curries are hot because they add hot peppers to the mix, request that they use a mild curry ... curry is also not a fattening food , it 's the oils and coconut milks that attributes to it high fat content.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Chicken Korma, Chicken Madras add spices and chillies according to taste.

  7. go for tomato based curries instead of the butter chicken/korma type

  8. masalla sauce is nice and mild and has a lovely taste, korma an massalla are my faves

  9. Who says you have to eat curry? Any half decent Indian restaurant will have an alternative European choice

  10. Go for a veg dupiassa ( ? )

  11. GO ON!!! Treat yourself, its your daughters birthday for gods sake.!

One little korma wont do anyone any harm!!

    you know you want to....

happy birthday to the little un!!!

  12. Bhuna is a good one, that's a mild tomato based one usually.

Anything that's tomato based would be good and they usually rate them based on spicyness anyway.

  13. no curry is low fat.  it's a fact.  but you could try chicken tikka massala or for very low fat chicken tandoori (cooked in an oven with no oil).  but still marianated.  alternatively don't diet away from foods you like.  just eat less.

  14. I only like mild curries.  My favourite is korma but I also like tikka masala.

You could abandon the diet just for the one day.

  15. Tikka Missalla =]

  16. forget something full of sauce, go for something like chicken tikka or tandoori, the less sauce the better!
