My fiance and I would like to stay somewhere that is really nice but not overly expensive, preferably around Disney World, Sea World e.c.t.

We have heard that there are rentable villas in residential streets that are nice nd pretty cheap. Anyone stayed in one?

Thank you.

  1. The villas are mostly located in Davenport.. try this website to checkout the villas. The owners are great. http://www.destinationhomesorlando.com/i...

For hotels, try either the Caribbean Beach Club or Port Orleans in Disney (Only $149 per night) or the Disney Pop Century for only $99 per night.

  2. The Hilton Hotel at Downtown Disney has a Timeshare rental, and its supposedly REALLY NICE ( Im staying their this coming wed)

I saw pics of the rooms and their nice and a pretty good size, and i also saw the pool and the pool ROCKS!

Speaking of the Hilton Downtown Disney though, i though that was a great resort too. the rooms are real nice, and the pool is even nicer, and its a less than 1 minute walk to downtown disney. You also can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours since your on disney property.

    * Added, Some of the Moderate Disney Hotels would be nice too, But for a Honeymoon, i wouldnt stay at a Value resort       ( POP, All Star Movie, All Star Sports) Cuz they are more kiddie/family hotels with disney themes.

    Have Fun and Good Luck

  3. You can get a villa for less than the price of a hotel room. You will need a car to get to the shops and theme parks.

Try to get one with a king size master suite and your own private pool with spa. Maybe also try to get one where the pool deck looks out onto conservation woods or water rather than a wall or fence.

You rent them direct from the owner (make an offer if only 2 of you are staying) you will be able to see photos of all the rooms to help you make up your mind.  Kissimmee is the nearest to everything followed by Davenport and Clermont.

I stayed in a great villa on the Cumbrian Lakes estate which is very near to Disney - it has a two person bath in the master suite and also a balcony overlooking the lake. http://www.kellysden.com

  4. In Disney I suggest Port Orleans French Quarter

    and Disney Villas:

Saratoga springs, old key west, and animal kingdom are all villas within disney that start at 285/night

    Besides Disney:

These websites are great for getting an idea of prices and locations. They sort all the hotels by price and even in separate categories (economy, moderate, luxury, etc.) They have villas on there as well as vacation packages. Good luck and have fun!

Try this one for a villa, some friends of mine used this link a month ago for a vacation next month, had a selection made and reserved in one night

  7. At Disney if you don't want to or can't splurge for the Grand Floridian which would be top choice they have a few moderate priced hotels that are quite nice.

Carribbean Beach, Port Orleans,Coronado Springs and sometimes you can get some good prices on the deluxe such as Fort Wilderness Lodge.

If you are interested in DIsney call to see what they offer.  Sometimes you can get quite a deal on the Deluxe hotels certain times of the year,
