In lincoln i'd go for either browns pie shop (home of the stars) or the wig and mitre, both are located close to each other in the historic uphill area of lincoln. Contrary to how they sound they both offer some of the best quality food around, in a nice atmosphere.

Kpasa on west street, italian, but very good.............they have a lunchtime special during the week for a fiver of a starter and main.........nice area and big windows you can look out of.........very freindly staff, not yuppiefied at all!!!!!!.......get down there kidda!!!!
